Welcome to NWSV Helix

Dear visitor,

NWSV Helix is the student association of Science and Innovation Management (SIM) at Utrecht University. Helix has about 500 members and was founded in 1991, directly after the establishment of the bachelors program of Science and Innovation Management.

Helix has over 20 committees that organize lots of activities varying from parties, 'borrels' (pub nights) and movie nights to diving, ski tour and sport tournaments.
Beside that, Helix organizes several study-related activities such as a symposium, lectures, company visits, and the yearly study tour by SSU.

Another important task executed by Helix is the evaluation of the educational system and the courses given by the SIM department. If you have any comments about the current courses or the current educational system, feel free to contact our educational commissioner, Fabiana Keller (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)). The SIM department corporates strongly with Helix, and is happy to hear comments about the educational system in order to improve it.

For its members, Helix has pub night every last Wednesday of the month, which is always held at our hangout café Ouwe Dikke Dries, in the centre of Utrecht. You can always drop by and see if you like the Helix atmosphere, without any engagement.
